Fact sheets have been developed for mild to moderate manifestations of a number of special needs conditions. For most conditions there are separate fact sheets for Dental Professionals, Medical Professionals, and Parents and Caregivers. A new General Guidance fact sheet is included and is available in Spanish.

Abilities Network- Epilepsy Foundation Central Region
A non-profit organization that assists individuals with disabilities to achieve their personal goals and reach their maximum potential. We provide extensive training opportunities for families, child care providers, teachers and community members with the goal of fostering inclusion. Other services include, but not limited to: A TEEN program epilepsy group, parent support group, free epilepsy education program for schools, and limited financial assistance for epilepsy-related expenses.

Melwood Recreation Center
The Melwood Recreation Center is a beautiful 108-acre facility located on the Nanjemoy Peninsula in rural Charles County, Maryland. Operates four core programs: Camp Accomplish, an inclusive camp for kids of all abilities; Access Adventures, an assisted travel program for adults with disabilities; the Equestrian Program, offering therapeutic and general horsemanship lessons and trail riding activities to riders of all ages and abilities; and the Retreat Center.
