The Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Program is a resource for families, health care providers, and communities. The CYSHCN Program works to improve systems of care for anyone from birth through age 21 with a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral or emotional illness or condition. Who need or use of specialized therapies or services such as speech, occupational, physical therapy or other prescribed therapies; need or use of counseling; or a functional limitation such as a physical, emotional or mental disability. The program is staffed by a Registered Nurse who is available Monday through Friday.
